The financial operations controller plays a central role in managing accounting integrity and rigorous control over financial operations. This position involves meticulous supervision, in-depth analysis and accurate presentation of all financial activities with a particular focus on compliance with company accounting standards and regulations. The financial operations controller is essential to ensure accounting integrity, effective control and compliance with the company's accounting standards and regulations, which contributes to the operational financial success of the organization. The financial operations controller is responsible for guaranteeing the accuracy and veracity of the accounting records of operations, including the review and approval of financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and records of assets and liabilities. They also ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, perform detailed financial analysis, collaborate in budgeting and forecasting, coordinate audits, manage processes, develop internal controls, and collaborate with other teams. Responsibilities Accounting supervision: guarantee the accuracy and veracity of the accounting records of operations, including the review and approval of financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and records of assets and liabilities. Regulatory compliance: ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and applying internal procedures and policies to comply with these regulations. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for the company and regulatory authorities including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as special reports as required. Financial Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial statements and other relevant data to identify trends, opportunities and risks providing recommendations to the company to improve efficiency and profitability. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate in the development of annual budgets and financial projections, ensuring the accuracy of forecasts and providing guidance on the allocation of financial resources. Audits: Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring the availability of necessary documentation and addressing any recommendations resulting from the audits. Process management: Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and financial processes by proposing and applying solutions that optimize productivity and reduce operational risks. Internal controls: Monitor and develop activities to meet all the requirements of the company's controls matrix. Collaborate with other teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration 5+ years experience in the area Professional certification as CPA, CMA. Proficiency in English (must) Good soft skills in Communication, leadership, collaboration, organization.
