Involved in the full development lifecycle of business solutions, including analysis, defining user requirements, testing, documentation, training, and support. Develops cost-effective and efficient applications by analyzing user requirements, providing technical specifications, designing, and maintaining programs that meet high standards of availability, integrity, and reliability. Implements new systems or enhancements by reviewing code, establishing test procedures, developing implementation plans, and providing post-deployment support and training. Provides technical guidance and reviews to team members through walkthroughs. Stays current with technological trends, self-teaches new technologies, and understands the division’s business and technology strategies. Independently resolves complex problems applying financial, business, and technological knowledge, often involving iterative development and research. Manages multiple small projects or leads sections of larger projects, including planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and stakeholder communication. Tracks work assignments, status, and reporting; configures automation test cases. May provide off-hours support for regulatory reporting tasks. Provides business and technical support to application users, including troubleshooting, issues, and training. Supports production applications, servers, and infrastructure, including maintenance, patches, vulnerability remediation, and performance issues. Assists project leaders or managers by supervising junior staff, supporting project development, and monitoring progress. Ensures activities consider the bank’s risk appetite and culture, adhering to operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk controls.
