Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Microsoft SQL Server Developer to join our team. Responsibilities High levels of performance, availability, sustainability integrity and security tasks Work as SME (Subject matter expert) dedicated with Microsoft SQL Server technology Provide solution for database critical issues including capacity, redundancy, replication, and performance Work with Database index tuning to resolve database performance issues develop policies and procedures for network and/or Internet database access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data availability, security, and suitability of data Write scripts related to stored procedures, and triggers Write and maintain automation scripts using Windows Power Shell Design and develop database architecture for information systems projects Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement, and test data models and database management systems Work performance and optimization of data by using the SQL server profile, SQL Diag, SQL Query stress, Splunk, O-Stress, and many other customization scripts & jobs Monitor SQL server and database performance and proactively address potential performance issues Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement throughout the organization Co-ordinate with project lead and teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models Communicate effectively with management and relevant stack holders. and Develop good working relationships with other departmental Requirements 3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Strong SQL Development experience Knowledge of Azure Cloud with SQL Server Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking to resolve issues and give attention to detail Experience in various tools for working in Agile Development Projects like JIRA, Git, Azure Devops Experience in time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Nice to have Experience in BI Tools like PowerBI We offer/Benefits - International projects with top brands - Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers - Healthcare benefits - Employee financial programs - Paid time off and sick leave - Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses - Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses - Global career opportunities - Volunteer and community involvement opportunities - EPAM Employee Groups - Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
