**Technical Writer Job Description** **Tradeview Markets** **Duties and responsibilities** **The Technical Writer** will be responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The position research products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience. 1. Research, develop, and update technical documents, including general orders, standard operating procedures, policy and instruction procedures and manuals, work instructions, and technical/safety protocols and best practices. This should involve illustrating concepts with diagrams, etc. 3. Review and edit written materials by others and ensure document uniformity and consistency across the Tradeview’s portfolio. 4. Arrange for typing, duplication, and distribution of documents. 5. Ensure that documents are complete, understandable, and accurately represent the appropriate visual presentation of data. 6. Identify and implement records, document procedures, and processes. 7. Continuously ensure that documents are updated, streamlined, maintained, and archived appropriately. 8. Prepare reports and memos in response to internal and external group findings and recommendations. 9. Provide management with the evidence and data to aid in strategic planning decisions related to security issues. 10. Maintain computer records, including historical data, for all documentation prepared. 11. Ensure accurate version control and audit trail. 12. Ability to communicate effectively to people at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing. 13. Ability to stay abreast of innovative technologies. **Skills and qualifications** 1. Have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 2. Fluency in technical and common office software 3. Ability to pay attention to details 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English 5. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment 6. Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills 7. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills 8. Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter 9. Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy 10.
