Role Purpose Why thisrole matters: As part of the People Operations team, this role iscritical to administering and managing payroll processes and thecompensation and benefits program in line with current legislationand Virgin Mobile’s internal policies. The successful candidatewill ensure seamless operations while constantly seeking ways tooptimize processes across the LATAM region. What success lookslike: In your first year, you will lead the successfulimplementation of SAP People Systems (including Payroll) acrossLATAM, take ownership of People Operations processes for theregion, and establish fully digitalized employee file management.Why this is for you: You’ll join a highly dynamic and collaborativeteam and play a leading role in one of the most significant Peopleprojects to date. KeyResponsibilities In this role, you will: - Lead the SAPImplementation for People Systems in LATAM, including Payroll,ensuring effective rollout and stakeholder alignment. - Oversee allPeople Operations processes across the LATAM region, drivingconsistency and operational excellence. - Manage and processpayroll in compliance with current labor legislation, workingclosely with external providers and continuously improving forefficiency, security, and accuracy. - Administer compensation andbenefits programs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery whilemaintaining supplier relationships. - Ensure full legal andregulatory compliance of HR operations, and generate key HR reportsand metrics for Global Management. - Maintain fully digitalized andorganized control of employee files across all LATAM operations. -Coordinate personnel management processes, including onboarding,offboarding, disciplinary actions, and employment conditionchanges. - Lead and review payroll provider reporting for monthlyaccounting purposes, ensuring alignment with internal standards. -Handle all internal inquiries related to payroll, social security,and benefits, providing timely and effective resolution. - Act asbackup for existing People Operations colleagues during periods ofleave or absence. - Own the parameterization and end-to-endimplementation of payroll in SAP, ensuring accurate execution withexternal providers. - Oversee labor-related legal processes toensure compliance and mitigate risk to the organization.Qualifications & Attributes We’re seeking someone who embodiesthe following: Education: Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a relatedfield.
