The objective of this role is to support the local taxes operation and accounting processes based on the policies and guidelines of the company. Key tasks and accountability - Responsible for the proper registration of accounts payable to suppliers - Responsible for the management and control of fixed assets - Input all the financial information. - Analyze monthly financial information - Prepare expense report - Prepare monthly direct tax account reconciliations and necessary adjusting journal entries. - Support local and Corporate tax audits. - Prepare the calculation of taxes (ICA, VAT, Rete-fuente, etc). - Preparation of reports to the DIAN and municipalities - Prepare tax returns and supporting documentation. Academic and professional qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in public accounting. - Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge Experience - 3-5 years of experience in local taxation law (tax audits, local compliance, tax reporting) - IFRS Knowledge - USGAAP knowledge (desirable) - Workday ERP knowledge (desirable) Languages - English intermediate-advance level
