Direct message the job poster from Solvo Global Job description : Priority Power is seeking a Cloud Application Developer to join the Application Development team in delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions across our enterprise systems. The Cloud Developer will work closely with senior developers, architects, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and enhance cloud-based applications and services. This role focuses on full lifecycle project work—from requirements gathering through development, deployment, and support—with a growing emphasis on solution design and technical ownership. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud development, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and is motivated to deliver impactful software in a dynamic, multi-cloud environment. Responsabilities : Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new cloud-based application features and services aligned with business goals. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment of project deliverables. • Enhance and optimize existing applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Contribute to architectural and design discussions for cloud-native systems and participate in code reviews. • Support and extend cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks. • Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software changes. • Monitor cloud environments and applications using modern observability tools to ensure performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. • Document design decisions, system architecture, and implementation details to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing. Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills : Skills & Technology: • Must have: Python, SQL, Cloud Development (AWS and/or Azure), SDLC participation, CI/CD practices • Great to have: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), DevOps tooling, Docker, Logging & Monitoring (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor), API design and integration Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. • 2+ years of professional experience in application development, preferably in cloud environments. • Proficiency in Python programming and experience building and deploying applications in AWS and/or Azure. • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices. • Experience in the Energy sector is a plus but not required.
