In this role, you will develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications utilizing AWS serverless architecture and modern web technologies. This position is critical in building scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that leverage cloud-native services and AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities AWS Serverless Architecture Development - Design and implement cloud applications using AWS Serverless Framework - Create and manage AWS CloudFormation templates for infrastructure as code - Develop and optimize AWS Lambda functions for serverless backend processing - Configure and manage AWS Step Functions for orchestrating complex workflows - Implement and maintain AWS API Gateway for RESTful API endpoints - Ensure security, scalability, and cost optimization of serverless resources - Design and implement database schemas in Aurora Serverless PostgreSQL - Develop and optimize SQL queries and database operations - Create and maintain data access layers and ORM implementations - Use DBeaver for database administration and management - Implement database migrations and version control strategies - Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulations Frontend Development - Develop responsive and interactive web applications using React - Implement static website hosting on AWS S3 - Configure and optimize AWS CloudFront for content delivery - Integrate Firebase authentication for secure user management - Create reusable UI components and implement state management solutions AI Integration and Implementation - Integrate OpenAI API into applications for AI-driven features - Develop and implement machine learning workflows within serverless architecture - Create interfaces between AI services and application components - Optimize AI model usage and manage API costs effectively DevOps and CI/CD - Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment - Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for serverless applications - Implement infrastructure as code practices for reproducible deployments - Optimize application performance and resource utilization Code Quality and Best Practices - Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites for all application components - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards - Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decision records - Implement security best practices throughout the application stack Communication and Collaboration - Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers - Participate in Agile development processes including planning and retrospectives - Mentor junior developers on cloud-native and serverless best practices Qualifications Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience - Demonstrated experience with AWS serverless technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions - Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code principles - Experience with Aurora PostgreSQL or similar database systems - Strong React development skills for frontend implementation - Python programming experience for backend and serverless functions - Experience with Docker containerization - Working knowledge of Firebase authentication - Familiarity with S3 static website hosting and CloudFront CDN - Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation Preferred - Experience integrating OpenAI API or similar AI services - Experience with GraphQL APIs - Knowledge of TypeScript for frontend development - Experience with serverless monitoring and observability tools - Understanding of security best practices for cloud applications Seniority level - Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type - Employment type Part-time Job function - Job function Engineering, Information Technology, and Product Management - Industries Information Services, Technology, Information and Media, and IT System Data Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Adecco Group by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Cloud Engineer” roles.
