You are experienced with Power BI and other modern BI tools, and comfortable extracting and analyzing data using SQL. You know how to transform complex data into simple visualizations that tell the story, and you’re passionate about providing data-driven guidance to stakeholders across various functions. What you will be doing: As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be a key member of our BI function, working cross-functionally with various teams to provide data-driven insights and reporting. Your role will require collaborating closely with operations teams to develop reports, analyze performance, and provide recommendations that help improve business outcomes. Additionally, you'll contribute to broader analytics initiatives, track key metrics, and ensure data accuracy for decision-making across the company. Client-Facing Communication & Stakeholder Management: Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders, especially those who require data-driven decision support, including clients. Ensure clear explanations of insights and recommendations, and address client inquiries promptly. Be prepared to lead discussions with clients, offering insights into data findings and helping to translate them into actionable strategies. Engage with clients to refine KPIs and success criteria for performance tracking, ensuring alignment with business goals. Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a way that’s easy to understand, particularly in client-facing scenarios. Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth analyses to identify trends and provide insights that guide business actions, particularly focusing on key business drivers like quality, engagement, and operational performance. Work closely with operations teams to design and analyze experiments, rigorously interpret results, and avoid misleading conclusions. Design and develop dashboards and reports, ensuring key metrics are easily accessible and consistently tracked for decision-making. Continuously monitor data to ensure its accuracy, proactively resolving discrepancies in reporting and analysis. Maintain strong attention to data integrity to ensure reliable and accurate reporting. Data Management & Automation: Gather, clean, and manage data from multiple sources, including handling data ingestion from reports (CSV uploads, Sharepoint, databases). Support the structuring of operational data for forecasting and modeling purposes. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader analytics initiatives and operational analytics. Required Skills & Experience: 1+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role. Strong experience with Power BI. Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing structured data. Experience with data modeling, data warehouse design, and ETL processes to structure and optimize data for analysis and reporting. Strong data visualization skills with the ability to tell compelling stories through data. Understanding of data integrity, ensuring reports and dashboards are accurate and reliable. Ability to translate business questions into structured reporting and analytics. Familiarity with statistical concepts and how they relate to business insights. Experience in developing client KPIs and suggesting success criteria for performance tracking. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially regarding data accuracy. Good to have: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Experience working in BPO, Transportation, Logistics, or similar industries. Familiarity with Python or R for analysis, visualization, and automation. Knowledge of modern data lake components like Fabric. Soft Skills: Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly, ensuring alignment across multidisciplinary teams. Strong problem-solving skills to proactively identify issues within automation processes and develop efficient solutions. Adaptability and openness to learning, crucial for staying updated with industry trends and adopting new low-code/no-code technologies effectively. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
