General Description The Data Software Architect is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a messaging layer and data pipelines for collecting and ingesting information from various sources. They will also be involved in the definition and implementation of scalable and robust data architectures. Their role is crucial in ensuring the performance, optimization, and continuous improvement of data systems throughout the data lifecycle. This person will work very closely with client stakeholders who manage the enterprise data system to ensure that the data solution meets their standards. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of a messaging layer and data pipelines for collecting and ingesting information from various sources.Define and implement scalable and robust data architectures.Optimize and ensure the performance of data systems, continuously seeking improvement.Guide the team in following best software development practices throughout the data lifecycle.Stay updated on trends in data technologies, new tools, and methodologies.Work closely with both internal (Squad Lead and Data Product Manager) and external leadership teams to establish a clear delivery plan, and maintain close communication with parties throughout the software lifecycle. Requirements Solid experience in similar initiatives, particularly in building messaging layers and data pipelines.Experience working with international clients.Strong background in data engineering with modern data stacks.Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL tools like DBT.Advanced English for business communication.Experience with data pipeline deployment and monitoring.Track record in people development.
