Job Description Step into a vital role as a virtual customer service representative where you’ll be the cornerstone of patient communication for a thriving medical practice. Managing a dynamic environment of 50-100 daily patient interactions, you’ll utilize state-of-the-art scheduling systems and communication tools to ensure seamless patient care coordination. This position offers unique opportunities for professional growth in healthcare administration while making a meaningful impact on patient care delivery. Responsibilities Provide warm, professional greeting and assistance to patients via phone within our 4-ring standard Manage new patient intake process and appointment scheduling using modern healthcare software Coordinate with in-office medical team to ensure optimal patient care scheduling Process and respond to patient inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, web forms) Execute precise follow-up communication for missed calls and pending patient requests Apply medical triage protocols to prioritize properly and route patient communications Maintain detailed patient interaction records following healthcare privacy standards Collaborate with on-site team members to ensure seamless patient experience Requirements Fluent in both English and Spanish with excellent pronunciation and grammar Previous healthcare or medical office experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to maintain professional composure in fast-paced environments Strong technical aptitude with healthcare scheduling software Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities Understanding of medical privacy requirements and HIPAA regulations Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet work environment Ability to work US Pacific Time zone business hours Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics Benefits Independent Contractor Perks: HMO Coverage for eligible Locations Permanent Work from home Immediate Hiring Steady Freelance Job Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
