Titleand Summary Manager, Product Development Overview Emerging Marketswithin the context of Mastercard are characterized by three broadthemes: (1) They represent significant opportunity in terms ofcircular shift from cash to digital forms of payment; (2) They leadthe world in digital inclusion, particularly as it relates to theadoption of mobile technology; (3) The payment landscape in thesemarkets differs considerably from the norm in terms of solutions,business models, and operators. More than half of the 210 countriesand territories where Mastercard operates can be consideredemerging markets. The Emerging Market Product Development teamwithin Emerging Market Solutions is part of Global Acceptance. Weare focused on promoting Mastercard acceptance in emerging marketsleveraging innovative Point of Interaction methods and otherrelated technology artifacts. The team works closely with internal(Engineering, Design, Franchise, Marketing, Regional Product,Customer Solution Centers, Market Development, etc.) as well asexternal stakeholders (Acquirers, Payment Facilitators, DigitalWallet Operators, B2B Market Places, Mobile Network Operators,etc.) to discover and deliver relevant solutions that are scalable. The Role The Manager, Product Development and Innovation willsupport the execution of our emerging market solutions productstrategy. The team member will: 1. Provide 'Run Phase' support forthe existing Send QR product line across existing markets, workingwith internal and external stakeholders to ensure the productdelivers on agreed expectations in the form of Objectives and KeyResults. 2. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders toanalyze the existing user personas, markets, segments, and productofferings to understand the gaps that exist and support thedevelopment of new solutions to address those gaps to reach scale.3. Support the building and/or strengthening of partnerships withthird-party solution providers to discover and deliver productinnovation that advances the product strategy. All About You We arelooking for a person who is passionate about the above 'job to bedone' with proven experience in: 1. Providing end-to-end supportfor push payment solutions that leverage Quick Response Code orManual Entry Alias across multiple markets in aBusiness-2-Business-2-Consumer setting. 2. Product Management witha deep understanding of the Product Development and Management LifeCycle and its associated tools and methodologies in a global,technology-heavy context. 3. Having an appreciation of businessdrivers with an ability to articulate compelling narrativesutilizing numbers. 4. Being a strategic thinker and entrepreneurwith a penchant for thinking out of the box and getting thingsdone. 5. Being able to influence others and drive strategicalignment.
