We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure and automation processes. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions, enhance system performance, and ensure operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced tools and technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Develop enterprise automation solutions using Python, custom Ansible modules, and Jenkins pipelines Create and manage GCP Cloud Functions and automation scripts for provisioning and orchestration in the cloud Support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of containers using Docker Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash/Shell, Groovy, and optionally Go Design and manage automated pipelines to deliver secure and optimized machine images across AWS and GCP environments Build and patch Linux and Windows Server images using tools like Packer and Ansible Ensure compliance with security standards through image scanning and remediation using tools such as CIS, Qualys, and Lacework Requirements At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Proficiency in CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GCP Cloud Functions Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps tooling, particularly Terraform and Docker Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Groovy for automation and workflow optimization Strong knowledge of Linux administration across distributions like RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu Experience with image management tools such as Packer and Ansible for building and patching server images Familiarity with security and compliance practices, including CIS Benchmarks, patch management, and tools like Qualys and CrowdStrike Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher Nice to have Familiarity with Go for automation and scripting purposes Experience with Windows Server for image management and administration We offer/Benefits - International projects with top brands - Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers - Healthcare benefits - Employee financial programs - Paid time off and sick leave - Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses - Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses - Global career opportunities - Volunteer and community involvement opportunities - EPAM Employee Groups - Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
