They will serve as a trusted advisor for other areas as well. **Roles and Responsibilities**: - Assure and monitor all everyday activities (related to import and export) and resolve all customer complaints appropriately - Build stakeholder’s trust - Assure a high performance of contracted 4PL/customs broker for E2E activities to achieve business goals and also focus on building capabilities for the long term - Lead continuous improvement through LEAN initiatives - Develop and implement compliant processes and procedures for all import activities - Manage all applicable international trade agreement programs - File customs disclosures when necessary - Partner with Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Warehouse, etc. to create a robust and efficient E2E process - Serve as the primary point of contact for all customs-related audits and compliance initiatives - Supervise the import of goods process in order to ensure they are compliant with government-imposed regulations - Develop and implement various internal control measures for preparing reports - Supervise with the management team and ensure optimal results for all operations - Maintain efficient knowledge of all rules and regulations for various business operations - Lead international transportation service policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures - Shape and execute international trade process in order to bring CIPs (savings) as per the company guidelines **Qualifications** Position Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree is required - Analytical and process-oriented, with strong decision-making/problem-solving skills - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience with International Trade (Import/Export and Drawback processes) - Fluent in English - Intermediate in Spanish - Experience managing 3rd party Logistics providers - Proactive approach and ability to persuade and influence others in a multicultural environment - Strong business acumen and understanding of the end-to-end supply chain - Great communication skills on all levels - Quick to learn - Ability to lead by efficiently resolving conflicts with courtesy and confidence and respond to issues and requests with a sense of urgency - High degree of independent judgment, common sense, thoughtfulness, integrity, and transparency when making decisions **Preferred Requirements**: - Bachelor’s Degree in international trade, Supply chain Management, or Engineering - Professional certifications such as APICS, and/or Lean Six Sigma will be a differential - Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization - Multi-sector experience preferred - Experience with regulatory agencies-related processes and industry will be a plus **Primary Location** Brazil-São Paulo-São Paulo - **Other Locations** Latin America-Colombia-Distrito Capital de Bogotá-Bogotá, Mexico-Distrito Federal-Mexico City **Organization** J&J; do Brasil Indústria e Comércio de Produtos para Saúde Ltda.
