The role is for an experienced member of O&T; to join the LATAM Markets Operations Re-engineering team to drive process re-engineering, automation, productivity, control and customer experience related projects and initiatives for the Latin American’s region. Citi Markets Operations is currently at a pivotal point in its evolution and journey to implement a target operating model. Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. You will have the opportunity to recommend creative suggestions on how to improve processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risk better serve our clients **Responsibilities**: - Liaises closely with Business Clients, and Project Managers to ensure that interdependencies and/or partnership opportunities with programs are highlighted, understood and incorporated into overall proposed plans. - Leads business transformation and reengineering on multiple large-scale engagements simultaneously; provide on-the-ground support and leadership for key reengineering initiatives. - Trains business functions to ensure continued process improvement. - Analyzes reengineering results and present findings to senior leadership. - Identifies major impact change opportunities, develop the business case and implementation plans, and obtain business approvals and funding to proceed; provide effective, efficient solutions to material business problems. - Partners with regional reengineering counterparts to address and identify global reengineering opportunities. - Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. - Applies in-depth knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and processes and for the area or function. - Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating to others in area. - Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact. - Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual. - Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams, and is involved in coaching and training of new recruits. **Qualifications**: - Written and oral English and Spanish are a must. Portuguese is preferred but not required. - 5-8 years relevant experience - Experience in implementing projects with the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Six Sigma Green Belt or better with experience implementing projects and training business participants. experience in financial services - PMP certification is also desirable but not required - Highly motivated, organized and methodical - Logical, analytic and rational - Demonstrated team player **Education**: - Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
