We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our technical team in Bogotá, Colombia, with availability to provide services in Fontibon for two days a week during office hours. Responsibilities: - Provide on-site technical support for IT infrastructure, including identifying and resolving hardware, software, operating system, and network issues. - Diagnose and fix technical problems without impacting hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements. - Perform "smart hands" activities under specific instructions at customer sites. - Provide basic support for Windows operating systems and potentially Mac OS. - Assist with basic administration of Windows operating systems. - Apply basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts. - Utilize basic working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP. - Work with anti-spyware and anti-virus software. - Lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs (approximately 25 kg), in compliance with local health and safety regulations. - Offer "smart hands" support for a variety of peripheral and networking hardware (monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, etc.). - Troubleshoot system and network issues using deductive reasoning skills. - Adhere to workplace health and safety policies. - Manage time effectively to meet deadlines. - Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and the company, both written and verbal. Requirements: - Two to three (2-3) years of experience providing IT infrastructure field support. - An associate's degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ certification are preferred where commercially practical. Otherwise, the subcontractor must ensure and certify that the technician meets their internal standards. - Bilingual: Native proficiency in the local language of the country and good working competence in English as a secondary language. - Knowledge of MAC operating systems (primary and backup) and hands-on experience with Windows OS. - Experience in desk side support and PC break/fix. - Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN. - Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP. - Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software. - Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs (approximately 25 kg). - Deductive reasoning skills for problem-solving. - Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on time. - Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Pregunta(s) de postulación: - Indique expectativa de pago bruto mensual - Indique si tiene acceso a Fontibon Idioma: - Inglés (Obligatorio)
