As a Carrier Sales representative, you will serve as the key liaison between carriers and the company's Operations and Sales teams. Your role involves proactively identifying potential issues and collaborating with your team to develop solutions. Maintaining accurate records within the company's TMS, including tracing updates and load details, is essential. A Day in the Life of a Carrier Sales Entering orders into the company TMS. Proactively identifying and resolving potential problems before escalation. Monitoring loading, unloading, and appointment schedules; following up with customers regarding delays, missed appointments, or late arrivals. Communicating promptly about issues such as delays or accidents to the Account Operations and Carrier Sales teams. Demonstrating professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, and exhibiting excellent telephone etiquette. Assisting team members as needed.
