You will play a vital part in defining and executing our quality transformations. You’ll work directly with the development team to support the team’s objective of delivering features & solutions with Quality that exceeds our customers’ expectations. Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and Leadership, you’re scope of influence and impact will lay the foundation for our Quality organization. - As one of our first QA hires, you’ll take ownership in leading and executing QA activities (test case generating, test doc reviews, verification executions). You’ll demonstrate your expertise in solving QA dilemmas and help guide your peers to a higher quality standard with each iteration. While contributing to manual testing you are curious about automated testing and are helping to build our test strategies. **What You'll Do**: - Refine requirements to ensure all information, including the acceptance criteria, is correctly captured. - Develop comprehensive test plans (scope, risks, assumptions, boundary conditions, test priority, and traceability matrix). - Provide accurate test estimates and timely reports on test progress to QA leadership. - Proactively identify and communicate unique testing needs for complex features by extracting specific test data and information (such as from Developers) - Collaborate with the SDET automation team and provide seamless handover of well-documented test cases to be automated. - Provide clear and comprehensive bug reports and follow up rigorously on their fixes. **Your Background**: **Why become a Plootonian?** - Everything we do can be traced back to our Leadership Principles.
