Procurement Consultant GEP is a diverse and creative team of people passionate about procurement. - Deliver practical and effective services that enable procurement leaders to maximise their impact on business operations, strategy and financial performance. - Provide flawless service by understanding client needs and recommending actions to implement. - Work closely with middle management and clients to create customized high-impact solutions. - Analyse client spend data and create deliverables for the project. - Support developing sound recommendations contributing to program objectives (cost savings). - Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with the client. - Be responsible for handling complex analyses. - Participate and drive the client's engagement cycle from lead to operations. - Contribute to team understanding of client culture. Give suggestions on how the team could be more effective. - Start developing sourcing strategies & processes in line with client's business goals & policies. - Monitor and analyse trends of key commodities as input to sourcing initiatives. - Carry out sourcing, RFQ events, auctions, supplier management and negotiations. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree required. - 5+ years of consulting Procurement experience in top consulting firms, as well as Procurement Outsourcing Background (e-auctions & Retail). - Language proficiency in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite: including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (ability to create formulas and to analyse data). - Open to Travelling to client´s site up to 80% if required, travels within and outside the country. - Demonstrated excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. - Capable of creatively using data sources to develop fact-based approaches. - Capable of structuring logical and client-ready documents. - Leadership ability. - Good Presentation skills. - Good client management skills. - Business problem-solving skills with strong analytical and reporting skills. - Good presentation skills. - Demonstrated highly motivated team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
