Position Summary The Indirects Procurement Sr Coordinator develops and implements a robust procurement strategy for key spend categories across the LATAM region, focusing on Marketing and Commercial categories. This role involves collaborating with the regional procurement team to ensure efficient sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management. The coordinator drives value creation through five strategic pillars: cost optimization, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, innovation, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies support overall business goals. - Develop and implement procurement strategies: Create and execute procurement strategies for key spend categories in the LATAM region. - Lead the sourcing process through RFXs: Manage and oversee the sourcing process by developing and executing requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), and requests for quotation (RFQ). - Contract negotiation and management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. - Supplier relationship management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. - Cost optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. - Risk mitigation: Develop and enforce risk management strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions. - Innovation: Drive innovation in procurement processes and practices. - Sustainability: Promote sustainable procurement practices that align with organizational environmental and social responsibility goals. - Performance monitoring: Track and analyze procurement performance metrics. - Procure-to-pay process optimization: Streamline and enhance the procure-to-pay process. Required Skills and Experience - Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement or a related field. - Category Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of expertise in developing and implementing procurement strategies for Marketing and Commercial categories. - Strategic Thinking: Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organization's overall business goals. - Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders. - Proficiency in Sourcing Processes: Expertise in managing the sourcing process through RFXs. - Contract Negotiation and Management: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions. - Supplier Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. - Procure-to-Pay Process Optimization: Experience in streamlining and enhancing the procure-to-pay process. - Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze procurement performance metrics. - Risk Management: Experience in developing and enforcing risk management strategies. - Innovation and Sustainability: Commitment to driving innovation in procurement processes and promoting sustainable procurement practices. - Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all procurement activities. - Expertise in Excel: Good skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
