Our titles provide cutting-edge news, analysis, and insights to business leaders worldwide. We’re looking for a talented and seasoned Journalist or News Writer to join our dynamic editorial team. In this role, you'll write compelling news articles for our global portfolio of business publications, with a special focus on the mortgage industry. You'll be reporting for Canadian Mortgage Professional and Mortgage Professional America. This is a full-time, freelance role with work hours from 9 AM to 6 PM EST. What you will do: - Research and write news articles, profiles, and in-depth reports on international mortgage topics. - Write a high volume of news articles at an international level, with a strong focus on accuracy, detail, and industry relevance. - Contribute to the ongoing success of award-winning publications by providing high-quality, well-researched news articles. - Stay informed about global business trends, emerging markets, and the latest mortgage industry developments. What you need to succeed: - Proven experience in B2B journalism, preferably covering international mortgage topics. - Exceptional writing, reporting, editing, and research skills. - Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
