As a **Virtual Assistant**, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's healthcare professionals and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of their practice. **_ Here’s an overview of your future role:_** - Employment type: Indefinite term type contract- Shift: Monday to Friday | 8 to 5 EST- Work setup: Remote/Work from Home **What do you need to succeed?** - English proficiency: C1 - 3+ years of experience - Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Familiarity with medical billing and insurance procedures is a plus. - Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the healthcare industry. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information. Tech Stack: - Microsoft Suites **What awaits you in this role?** Scheduling: - Manage appointment scheduling for therapists and patients. - Coordinate and reschedule appointments as needed. - Maintain the appointment calendar and ensure it is up-to-date. - Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients and their families. Human Resources Support: - Assist with HR-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records and onboarding new staff members. - Help with employee scheduling and time tracking. Billing and Financial Management: - Post payments accurately in our system. - Assist with private pay insurance billing. - Collaborate with billers handling general insurance claims. - Obtain and maintain co-payments and authorizations. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems: - Proficiently manage and maintain electronic medical records in our EMR systems. - Ensure all patient documentation is accurately recorded and organized. Insurance Authorization: - Obtain authorization letters from insurance providers. - Verify insurance information and coverage for patients. - Ensure all insurance-related paperwork is complete and up-to-date.
