About the Senior Project Manager Position We arelooking for a Senior Project Manager with a passion for workinghand-in-hand with our clients to deliver world-class interactiveexperiences. Our work includes experience design, digital marketingcampaigns, eCommerce and CMS implementations, CRM programs andcontent development. As a Senior Project Manager, you will helpdevelop and execute the plans that allow our teams to create greatwork and deliver tremendous value. To succeed in this role, youwill need to be a natural leader, an advocate for your team andyour clients, have a passion for technology and possess strongproject management and communication skills. Responsibilities -Solve problems. Recognize the nature of each problem and ensure theright people are involved to help solve it. Be an activecontributor to that solution, not just a communication facilitator. - Manage ongoing work, budgets, and schedules for a portfolio ofclient accounts. - Maintain an understanding of Verndale'scapabilities and be able to match those capabilities up with clientneeds. Recognize gaps in capabilities and work with management todevise solutions to fill those gaps. - Work with clients andinternal teams to ensure that all work is in line with clients'short - and long-term strategic goals. - Deliver regular statusreports to clients. - Coordinate internal teams to ensure the rightpeople are on the right projects at the right time. - Mentor otherProject Coordinators and Project Managers. - Define and enhanceproject and business processes, ensure teams are followingappropriate processes. Know why process is important but don't beafraid to deviate from it when the situation warrants it. Draw onyour agency background and creativity to suggest and implementprocess enhancements. - Facilitate communication and alignmentbetween Verndale's team, client teams, and third parties as needed. Break down barriers that impede progress. - Create, manage, andcommunicate project/initiative schedules to all involved partiesand stakeholders. - Assist account team with knowledge of clientsand project needs to aid revenue growth within the account. - Keepup to date on a broad spectrum of technologies, recognizing whennew technologies or updates offer new opportunities for clients. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience managing teams that buildwebsites, web applications, or mobile apps backed by a ContentManagement System in an agency environment. - Agency experiencestrongly preferred. - Experience managing a team using an agiledevelopment process. Scrum Master certification preferred. - Deepknowledge of Project Management tools, techniques, and processesand when each is best applied. - Know a bit of everything that goesinto web projects, from strategy and digital marketingconsiderations to prototyping and visual design, front and back-enddevelopment, and hosting and networking. - Excellent written andverbal communication skills. - Excellent customer service skills. -Ability to interact seamlessly with both technical (IT) andmarketing groups in client organizations.
